20th Century Fox Fritz Lang film noir 1952 stars Barbara Stanwyck, Paul Douglas, Robert Ryan & Marilyn Monroe. Stanwyck gives an impressive performance as girl from a fishing town desperate to find way to leave humdrum existence. When her dreams fall flat, she returns to hometown & marries Douglas. She is contentedly married until tempted by very physical and appealing Ryan. Through turbulence & hardship, Stanwyck’s character finds herself & meaning of love. Marilyn Monroe has small, but important role as Stanwyck's sister-in-law, in earlier films shortly before reaching stardom.
Original, vintage & authentic 1-Sheet (27" X 41") poster in very good condition,is nicely linen-backed with dramatic, artistic & vivid film noir images. The poster had minor fold & border wear plus general wear & tear. It survived in wonderful condition & displays very well. Debbie Reynolds auctioned this poster in 2011 when she sold her famous collection. It has Certificate of Authenticity from auction.
