Vintage 1951 confirmed, new with some evaporation, sealed with membrane intact (flat/tight, no lift), original and authentic (Reference Number 460; Batch Number: 5121), Joy de Jean Patou real perfume (parfum) splash in a 1-ounce (30ml) size by Jean Patou.
This bottle is sealed; however, the cording on the right side of the neck is broken. It appears to have frayed/snapped over time. Please see the close-up photos to confirm the original membrane is intact. (SKU: 265605927937)
This is the more difficult to find bottle style with a black-bordered paper foil label, NOT the later, common 22k gold electroplate label. This bottle stands approximately 2.25 inches tall. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.
Joy is a unique concentration of rare flowers and was originally launched in 1930. Top notes include tuberose, rose, ylang-ylang blossom, aldehydes, pear, and green notes. Middle notes feature jasmine and iris root on a base of musk, sandalwood, and mild musky civet tones.
